The new i-Gun update v5 features the first of its kind, ultra-fun portable shooting range, where you can use all the guns from the i-Gun armory. Tilt to aim (Pull up the instruction where you can practice your aiming with red laser light) and shoot to earn i-Gun Cash!

You’ll be given ten shots to prove your ability. Aim for the bull’s eyes for higher i-Gun cash reward. Once you’re out of ammo, simply start a new round by pressing the ‘New Round’ button or switching your gun.

It’ll say ‘PERFECT’ on your screen. ‘Excellence’ or ‘Good’ does not count!

We’re consistently updating to deliver more & better values to i-Gun enthusiasts all over the world. During the past months since the birth of i-Gun on Feb, 2009, we have learned that not all iPhone & iPod Touch have been created equally, and the sensitivity of the built-in tilt sensors, which we critically depend upon for the classic i-Gun style(interactive) guns, vary quite a lot. Well, enough to make a group of people misunderstand that the guns do not operate properly under certain circumstances.

The classic i-Gun style guns are extremely engaging.  The zoom-in-to-fit triggers and other interactive features give  so much fun, and that’s where we got our fame from it. (Thanks to all i-Gun enthusiasts!!)

The RS(reduced-size) guns are great for quick & dirty shoot-arounds. They are easier to shoot, and they reload quicker.

Which do you prefer?
Well, we certainly do have our favorite, but that’s not important, because we have decided to continue to develop future guns in both classic i-Gun style guns and RS guns.

Now we have completely filled up the page with 9 guns, the v6 update will have a new user interface that accommodates more i-Gun style guns and the RS guns.  :)

Due to popular requests, we are introducing new weapons in Reduced Size format.
RS weapons fit perfectly into the screen, and there is no need to rotate the device.
When out of ammo, simply tap on the ammo icon on the bottom right corner, or
give it a little bump, and you’re good to go!

HOW DO I EARN i-GUN CASH?

At this moment, there are four ways to earn i-Gun cash.

- Simpy shoot around
- Destroy stuff and enemies
- Refer i-Gun to your friends (Menu -> Credit -> Tell a friend)
- Take a look at VB products (Menu -> Credit -> Earn i-Gun cash -> Click on each)

WHAT DOES THE MILITARY RANKING SYSTEM DO? HOW DO I RANK UP?

The ranking probably won’t do much until v6 or 7, but it’s there for future uses, as we have a grand road map for the future updates of i-Gun.

We have delibrately introduced the ranking system early, so that loyal users can benefit when the full features are ready. We did the same for i-Gun cash too. Those who have used i-Gun since v2 can now have a headstart with all the options & add-ons from v4.

You need to earn a certain amount of i-Gun cash to reach a higher level. The specific details will follow when the full features are implemented in the future release.

WHAT’S COMING UP IN THE FUTURE UPDATES?

Due to heavy competition among gun apps, we can not reveal the details of the new features until they’re really ready. But we leave hints/teaser images on our website before they get released, so come back every week.

ARE THE UPDATES FREE?

Yes, The updates for iPhone OS 2.x version of i-Gun will be completely FREE.

We want to make i-Gun the Pocket God of all gun apps out there!
Spread the words and encourage your friends to purchase i-Gun instead of other competing gun apps, because your purchases keep us develop new weapons and features that are fun and exciting!

It’s also noteworthy that we’re considering of raising the price from v6 or 7. Also, from v5, it will be somewhat more tricky to get i-Gun cash, so this is the best time to purchase i-Gun and save up i-Gun cash so that you can unlock the new features when they become available!

We have a good news and a bad news for all i-Gun lovers!

Here comes the good news.
Yes, i-Gun will have a new weapon!

In our original plan, i-Gun was only a part of a complete suite of arsenal experiences, including machine guns, grenade, shot gun, and such. We were originally going to introduce each app first, then release a bundled app at a reduced price. However, with an overwhelming response from international iPhone/iPod Touch communities, we have decided to expand the i-Gun franchise and give you new weapons from i-Gun!

The bad news? Our first attempt to add a new weapon has been rejected by Apple, and it will take a few more days until they approve the updated version.

Will there by more guns?
Yes, in fact, we have several new guns in the pipeline, and we’ll make our best efforts to have them shipped to you in the future updates.

We are committed to delivering you the highest quality gun-app for the AppStore, and no matter our competitors scam us with bad ratings (it’s so obvious if you take a look at what the same user has commented on other apps), we will make a new standard for all gun apps. Adding new weapons is important, but we are going beyond adding guns. Stay tuned for the future updates.

HOW TO FIRE
1. With your right hand, hold the handgun, and with your left thumb, load the chamber by pulling back the slide and releasing it.
2. Pull the trigger to fire (until you’re out of bullet)
3. Rotate your iPhone/iPod Touch 90 degrees counter-clockwise to drop the magazine out of the gun
4. Give your iPhone/iPod a gentle bump or swipe the magazine to reload.5. Repeat from #1
